After I first moved to Montreal in 2011, I had to rebuild a lot of my contacts and during this time I met Robin Westfield. He wanted to develop his portfolio and I needed to completely re-haul mine so we partnered up! We worked on numerous projects together, mostly creative editorial concepts although we also dabbled in a few other projects as well. This one, entitled "SORRA", was for an exhibition, or as they say in Quebec, a Vernissage, which was held at a cute and vibing bar in town. We asked model- turned- fashion- designer, Naomie (NamNam) to be the muse for the collection of photographs, which were then printed and displayed to be sold. Naturally the shoot was relaxed and cool, - Naomie was fantastic and result is a collection of gorgeous, beautifully natural, subtly seductive artwork.
I love that my skill can be used in artwork, and how amazing that someone has these pieces hanging in their house somewhere...... (And they can't wash off the makeup)!
